about

Will: I wanted to write a hardcore song really badly. Eli D. had mentioned how ideas topical to the school were pretty good (in the context of writing plays) so I wrote this about people who pull fire alarms for no reason. We recently had a week where this happened three times. No one appreciates it. They must die.
Gabe: I must say, this was the crappiest but most enjoyable song of the evening.
Will: Gabe just doesn't appreciate hardcore. :-P
Eli D: Will, as the only non-musician among the Collective, was charged with documenting the album. That's a boring thing to do though, so he wrote the lyrics for this song in the first leg of the marathon, while we were still at my house. It didn't get recorded until about 5 a.m., however, at which point its awesomeness recharged Gabe and Will's energy, which lead to the masterpieces "I, Norbit" and "Knock it Down! (The Water Tower)!", respectively. Gabe actually crashed a minute later though.
Dan A: I was going to do percussion on this, but I slept through its recording. Now I regret it.
Dan H: I was going to do synth on this, but I slept through its recording. Now I regret it.
Jordan: I did percussion and background vocals on this while falling asleep.
Gabe: Now that I'm looking back on this several months later, I can report that this song, "Super Hero Team Up", and "Suicide and Sunshine" are the three songs I listen to the most. Past Gabe...you ignorant fool.
