about

Dan H: This was the first song there was. I think it was Eli G.'s idea to write a sea shanty, so team sea shanty was formed. Lyrics were written by Dan Abromowtiz (and others maybe?). It was also the first song done. Team Sea Shanty are the winners.
Eli D: I wasn't part of this song, but I'm still allowed to say "London town!" as loud as I can. That's how the 24-hour-album works.
Dan A: The first lyrics we wrote were "I've seen the shores of London town," which I came up with to illustrate how the chorus ought to be rollicking. I wrote all but the last verse, which Gabe wrote. He added a tremendous double whammy, involving both the ship sinking AND the Kracken killing everybody, which I think is a little excessive but basically awesome. Big props to Dan H for coming up with the intro.
Eli G: It was Gabe's idea to make a sea shanty, I don't want to take credit.
