about

Will: Jordan wrote a really nice chord progression and needed lyrics in the morning. We were all incredibly exhausted and ready to pass out. I volunteered to just improv some lyrics off the top of my head. Nothing in this song has any basis anywhere. It's just me saying things. The first time we tried it, "knock down the water tower!" was the best line, so I decided it would be a refrain when we did it for real. There is absolutely no meaning behind anything in this song. Just to clarify.
Dan H: It's a metaphor. Think about it.
Dan A: Will signaled us to sing "Knock down the water tower!" by pumping his fist. He signaled us to sing "ROCK down the water tower!" by putting up his pinky and pumping his fist. Eli D is way too close to the mic here, but I think he deserves it.
Gabe: I slept through the recording of this song. They tried to wake me up with a shark, but it didn't work.
Chloe: I'm very sad that I had fallen into a coma during this and the last few songs and therefore did not participate.
Laini: I really wanted to have a sing-along, but this song really is perfect in its imperfections. It totally sums up the state of mind we were in at 9 am, when this was recorded in one take. I'll admit it though, Will tricked me with the rye bread; I could have sworn he was going to say rise.
Eli G: The water tower waters us, but who waters the water tower?
Liv: I do, Eli, I do.
