about

Dan H: The only song on the album to use the theremin. Well done.
Chloe: And the autotune! I think the artwork for this song should be Eddie Murphy in a fat suit...floating in space. Seriously though, I love this song a lot.
Eli D: This was the very last song we finished. Though Gabe didn't sleep the most, he went to sleep the most times, and when I forgot the melody, he was too dead to remind me how it went, so we couldn't record vocals until like 10 in the morning.
Dan A: Eli Guterman had brought a (uma) theremin, which was amazing, but when we were nearly finished with the album we realized we hadn't used it on anything. This was partially because none of us really knew how to play a theremin, but also because it's the most annoying instrument ever. Since this song was space-y, we opted to use it here, and dang is it annoying.
Jordan: I recorded the piano part for this in a state of delirium.
Eli G: This song isn't about the movie Norbit? You know, the one with Eddie Murphy?
Dan H: Nope. I, Norbit = INorbit = Inorbit = In orbit
Eli D: During the course of the marathon I learned that a "perigee" is the point in an orbit when the orbiter is closest to the orbited. Just today I learned that our perigee happened during the creation of the 24-hour-album. How cool is that?
